Embryogenesis EP

In 2020 I had the opportunity to collaborate with the collective and label Amek on the cover for Stoyan Yovchev - Omori's new EP Embryogenesis. The trust I was given only made the process more enjoyable, as creating a visual metaphor of Omori's ambient but texture-rich music wasn't an easy task. The noisy yet digital texture conveys the harshness that comes with anything digital, in which warm and organic sounds and emotions are born, struggling against their surroundings. The tape J-card is printed on both sides, and the main symbol transpires through the paper. The typeface I used is Redaction.

Stoyan was a dear friend to me and was beloved in Sofia's creative community. Thinking of you, Omori.
